End of year picnic

We had a great day out at Boyes Beach.

Our thoughts on the Production

We used a PMI chart to record our thinking about the production - The Terrible Taniwha of Timberditch.
P is the for the positives, M is for the minuses or things that were not so good and I is for the interesting things.

Mrs Crockett's island

On Friday the senior school  drove on a bus to Boyes beach.  Shondivo, Grace, Tayla and Nadia built a Sand island for Mrs Crockett because she's leaving. We all pitched in to make this amazing creation. We are so proud of it.

The Terrible Taniwha of Timberditch

Our class was "Africa" in the production. We did an item using the drums. The class was divided into 3 groups. Each group had a different rhythm to drum. We had to concentrate to make sure we did our part and keep in time. After the drumming a group of us did an African dance.

A big thank you to Mrs Jans, who helped us with our item.

Check out the photos from our part of the production.

Speech Finals

Manaaki represented our class in the Year 5 Speech finals. He shared a humorous speech about homework.
Manaaki came first for the Year 5's. Congratulations.
We all enjoyed listening to your speech.
